Garden Grille Celebrates 20 Years

Pawtucket, RI — January 11, 2016 — Garden Grille, a vegetarian restaurant in Pawtucket, RI, will celebrate its 20th anniversary by donating 100 percent of its sales on Wednesday, January 13th to six different charitable organizations in the greater Providence area.

The event will take place between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. at the Garden Grille Restaurant & Café, located in the Blackstone Plaza at 727 East Avenue in Pawtucket, and will feature a Klezmer band and a balloon sculpture artist in addition to special menu items and other surprises.

All food sales from the event will be donated to six Providence-based nonprofits: Amos House, a social services agency working with homeless and impoverished families and individuals; the Genesis Center, which provides education and workforce development to people of diverse cultures; Resilient Kids, which fosters the social, emotional, and academic growth of school children through mindfulness curricula; Leadership Rhode Island, which provides community leaders with tools and resources to affect positive change, The Steel Yard, which uses the industrial arts to strengthen community and revitalize the city, and Urban Greens Food Coop, a member-owned food cooperative and future grocery store providing healthy, affordable, and locally and sustainably sourced food.
